Trial Period Agreement

A time-limited D/s trial with review

This agreement sets out a trial period for a consensual Dominant and submissive dynamic between the two adults named below — a chance to explore the dynamic for a set time and then decide, together, whether to continue. Both enter into it freely, of their own choice, and of sound mind. It is a communication tool, not a legally binding contract, and either person can end the trial at any time.

A trial is provisional by design

Nothing here is permanent. The dynamic runs only for the agreed trial period and expires on its own at the end, unless both people choose to continue. Either party may also end it early, at any time, for any reason.

1. The Trial
  1. Purpose. The trial is a chance to explore this dynamic and learn whether it works for both people, with no assumption that it will continue.
  2. Term. The dynamic runs only for the trial period set out below. It does not roll over or become permanent on its own.
  3. Roles during the trial. The Dominant leads within the agreed limits; the submissive follows within them and speaks up the moment something is not working.
2. Review & Outcome
  1. Honest review. At the end of the trial, both sit down and review openly how it went — what worked, what did not, and how each person feels.
  2. Deciding what's next. Together they choose to continue (ideally under a fresh agreement), extend the trial, adjust the terms, or end the dynamic with no hard feelings.
  3. Ending early. Either party may end the trial before the review date at any time. Doing so is always respected and is never treated as a failure.
3. Consent & Limits

Consent is enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing. It may be withdrawn at any moment by either party. The safe word and stop word below take effect immediately whenever they are used, with no question or penalty.

4. Health & Safety
  1. Neither party will take part while impaired by alcohol or drugs to a degree that affects judgment or the ability to consent.
  2. Each party will share any relevant health information — injuries, conditions, triggers — that could affect safety.
  3. The safe word and stop word are honoured instantly. Using them is never punished and never held against the person who used them.
5. Trial Period & Revocation

This agreement is valid from for the trial period agreed by both parties, after which it expires unless both agree to continue.

Either party may revoke this agreement at any time, for any reason, by . Either party may also end the trial early, and withdrawal of consent ends the dynamic immediately and is always respected.
