Sensory Deprivation Contract

A negotiated agreement for sensory deprivation — blindfolds, hoods, sound limiting. Because it can be disorienting, the focus here is check-ins and a clear plan if it gets to be too much. Fill in the fields on the left and the document updates as you type.

This is a communication tool, not a legal contract. Nothing you type leaves your browser — we never see or store it. Either person can withdraw consent at any time, no matter what is written here.

Sensory Deprivation Agreement

A negotiated sensory-deprivation agreement

This agreement sets out the terms of consensual sensory-deprivation play between the two adults named below. Both enter into it freely, of their own choice, and of sound mind. It is a communication tool, not a legally binding contract, and it does not remove anyone's right to stop at any time.

Airway safety — non-negotiable

Never restrict breathing. Any hood, mask, or gag must leave the airway completely clear at all times. The Top stays present throughout — never leave the bottom alone while their senses are limited. Restore senses gradually at the end of the scene. Stop immediately on the safe word, stop word, or any distress signal — no exceptions.

1. What Is Limited
  1. The parties agree which senses are limited (sight, sound, touch) and the tools used (blindfold, hood, earplugs, headphones), and for how long.
  2. Breathing is never restricted. Any hood leaves the airway completely clear.
  3. Anything not discussed and agreed is out of scope.
2. Check-ins & Return
  1. Frequent reassurance. The Top stays present and checks in regularly by touch and voice.
  2. A way to communicate. The agreed non-verbal signal, safe word, and stop word all end the scene instantly.
  3. If it gets to be too much. Disorientation or panic is met by restoring a sense at a time, calmly, and stopping if needed.
  4. Aftercare. Senses are returned gradually, with time afterward to reconnect.
3. Consent & Limits

Consent is enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing. Because deprivation can be disorienting, the parties agree a non-verbal signal alongside the safe word and stop word below, and the Top checks in often by touch and voice so the bottom is never left feeling abandoned.

Hard limits — will not be crossed
Soft limits — may be explored with discussion
Safe word — pause / check in
Stop word — full stop, end scene
4. Health & Safety
  1. Neither party will take part while impaired by alcohol or drugs to a degree that affects judgment or the ability to consent.
  2. Each party will share any relevant health information — injuries, conditions, triggers — that could affect safety.
  3. The safe word and stop word are honoured instantly. Using them is never punished and never held against the person who used them.
5. Duration & Revocation

This agreement is valid from and continues until either party revokes it.

Either party may revoke this agreement at any time, for any reason, by . Withdrawal of consent ends the dynamic immediately and is always respected.
