Impact Play Agreement
A negotiated impact-play agreement
This agreement sets out the terms of consensual impact play between the two adults named below. Both enter into it freely, of their own choice, and of sound mind. It is a communication tool, not a legally binding contract, and it does not remove anyone's right to stop at any time.
- The parties agree which implements are in play (for example: hand, paddle, flogger, crop, cane) and roughly how intense the session may get.
- Marks: the bottom states whether visible marks or bruising are acceptable, and where on the body they are and are not welcome.
- Anything not discussed and agreed is out of scope for the session.
- Target areas only. Strikes land on well-padded areas (buttocks, thighs). Never the spine, kidneys, tailbone, neck, head, or joints.
- Warm-up. The session starts light and builds, so the body can adjust.
- Monitoring. The Top checks in by word and by watching the skin; play stops at numbness, broken skin, or any sign of harm beyond what was agreed.
- Aftercare. Time is set aside afterward for comfort, warmth, and care of any marks.
Consent is enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing. Play begins with a warm-up and builds gradually; the Top checks in regularly and watches for broken skin, deep bruising, or numbness. The safe word and stop word below take effect immediately, with no question or penalty.
- Neither party will take part while impaired by alcohol or drugs to a degree that affects judgment or the ability to consent.
- Each party will share any relevant health information — injuries, conditions, triggers — that could affect safety.
- The safe word and stop word are honoured instantly. Using them is never punished and never held against the person who used them.
This agreement is valid from and continues until either party revokes it.
Either party may revoke this agreement at any time, for any reason, by . Withdrawal of consent ends the dynamic immediately and is always respected.
