Consensual Non-Consent (CNC) Agreement

A pre-negotiated agreement for resistance play

This agreement records play that both adults named below enthusiastically agree to in advance. Both enter into it freely, of their own choice, and of sound mind. It is a communication tool, not a legally binding contract, and it does not remove anyone's right to stop at any time.

Pre-agreed play only — the safe word always wins

In CNC, “no” and resistance can be part of the agreed fiction — so the safe word and stop word sit outside the scene and end everything the instant they are used, despite anything said in role. Consent is given in advance and can be withdrawn at any time. This is never an excuse for real coercion, and only ever covers what was agreed beforehand.

Effective date
1. The Pre-Negotiated Scene
  1. Both parties agree, in advance, the theme and rough shape of the scene, and exactly what is on and off the table.
  2. Within that agreed scope, in-scene resistance, protest, or “no” may be part of the play.
  3. Everything outside the agreed scope is fully off-limits, including any activity, person, place, or act not discussed beforehand.
2. The Override, Check-ins & Aftercare
  1. The override. The safe word, stop word, and non-verbal signal end the scene immediately and are never ignored or ‘tested’.
  2. Sober and well. Neither party takes part while impaired; both are in a state to consent and to judge the scene.
  3. Check-ins. The Dominant watches closely for genuine distress (versus agreed play) and pauses if unsure.
  4. Aftercare and debrief. The parties plan strong aftercare and a later debrief to talk through how it felt and adjust next time.
3. Consent & Limits

Because in-scene protests may be part of the agreed play, the safe word and stop word below are kept entirely outside the fiction and end the scene instantly, no matter what is said in role. The parties also agree a non-verbal signal for when speech is not possible. Consent is given in advance, is ongoing, and may be withdrawn at any time.

Hard limits — will not be crossed
Soft limits — may be explored with discussion
Safe word — pause / check in
Stop word — full stop, end scene
4. Health & Safety
  1. Neither party will take part while impaired by alcohol or drugs to a degree that affects judgment or the ability to consent.
  2. Each party will share any relevant health information — injuries, conditions, triggers — that could affect safety.
  3. The safe word and stop word are honoured instantly. Using them is never punished and never held against the person who used them.
5. Duration & Revocation

This agreement is valid from and continues until either party revokes it.

Either party may revoke this agreement at any time, for any reason, by . Withdrawal of consent ends the dynamic immediately and is always respected.
