Bondage / Restraint Agreement

A negotiated restraint agreement with safety protocols

This agreement sets out the terms of consensual bondage and restraint play between the two adults named below. Both enter into it freely, of their own choice, and of sound mind. It is a communication tool, not a legally binding contract, and it does not remove anyone's right to stop at any time.

Safety first — restraint carries real risk

This document records consensual play only and never supersedes either person's right to withdraw consent at any moment. A restrained person is never left alone. Safety shears (for cutting rope or tape) stay within reach the whole time. Nothing is ever tied around the neck or in a way that restricts breathing.

Effective date
1. Restraint & Limits
  1. The parties agree which forms of restraint are in play (rope, cuffs, tape, furniture), the positions used, and a maximum time in any one position.
  2. Never the neck, and never anything that restricts breathing. Predicament or strenuous positions have a strict time cap.
  3. Anything not discussed and agreed is out of scope.
2. Circulation, Position & Release
  1. Circulation. The Top checks hands and feet regularly for colour, temperature, and numbness, and adjusts or releases at the first sign of trouble.
  2. Never unattended. The bottom is never left alone while restrained, not even briefly.
  3. Fast release. Safety shears stay within reach; the parties agree how to get the bottom out quickly if needed (panic, illness, fire).
  4. Aftercare. Time is set aside afterward for warmth, circulation to return, and reconnection.
3. Consent & Limits

Consent is enthusiastic, informed, and ongoing. Because restraint or a gag can make speech impossible, the parties also agree a non-verbal safe signal (for example, dropping a held object or three clear sounds) that ends the scene as instantly as the safe word or stop word below.

Hard limits — will not be crossed
Soft limits — may be explored with discussion
Safe word — pause / check in
Stop word — full stop, end scene
4. Health & Safety
  1. Neither party will take part while impaired by alcohol or drugs to a degree that affects judgment or the ability to consent.
  2. Each party will share any relevant health information — injuries, conditions, triggers — that could affect safety.
  3. The safe word and stop word are honoured instantly. Using them is never punished and never held against the person who used them.
5. Duration & Revocation

This agreement is valid from and continues until either party revokes it.

Either party may revoke this agreement at any time, for any reason, by . Withdrawal of consent ends the dynamic immediately and is always respected.
